Phase 2 at The Canals at Grand Park Begins

With leasing finally under way at the massive new Canals at Grand Park apartment community in Frisco, TX, Dallas-based developer StreetLights has officially broken ground on the already-planned second phase of the 152-acre development.

Construction for Canals at Grand Park initially began back in 2014 and with the rental market all over North Texas red hot right now, demand for new construction apartments seems to be stronger than ever. Energy-Efficient 5300 Glencoe Park in Dallas Now Pre-Selling

With so much new construction news popping up all over the DFW metro area, you might’ve missed that 5300 Glencoe Park is now officially pre-selling! Being developed by Austin-based home builder PSW Real Estate, 5300 Glencoe Park will be conveniently situated at the corner of Ellsworth Avenue and Anita Street, directly across the street from the 14-acre Glencoe Park.

Once finished, the first phase of the new PSW community will feature 68 single-family homes that will consist of three different floor plans, with future phases perhaps offering additional variety. REPORT: Dallas Homes Are Currently Overvalued

According to the most recent U.S. Sustainable Home Price Report from Fitch Ratings, homes in the DFW area are 10 to 15% overvalued after the local market has seen such rapid price growth over the last few years.

Even despite home prices nationally jumping 4.2% in 2015 and most regions seeing viable increases in home prices, the rate at which prices in the Dallas area specially has surpassed market fundamentals, at least in the eyes of New York-based Fitch Ratings.

As first reported by the Dallas Morning News, construction has officially begun on yet another major development in Uptown—one of the hottest neighborhoods in all of DFW right now.
