There’s a lot going on in the Dallas suburb of Frisco right now, which if you’ve been paying any attention at all, is hardly breaking news. Just this month, news broke about a local developer already planning a large-scale mixed-use development on a site that isn’t even for sale yet, and that’s just one of several major developments either being discussed or already in the works.

Another high-profile project that was approved earlier this year by the city is a new 17-story residential high-rise dubbed The Star, which will have a maximum of 160 units and also commercial and retail space on the ground level as well.

As part of the Dallas Cowboys’ Star mixed-use development, the high-rise would actually be the first of its kind in Frisco, and will be…

An interesting new story recently caught our eye from the Dallas Morning News that detailed a possible new development for a sprawling 2,800-acre ranch in suburban Frisco. The site, which is currently owned by the estate of Bert Fields, is actually part of a larger 7,000-acre ranch that sits on the northwest side of town, just west of the Dallas North Tollway.

Plans are only preliminary and according to reports, the land isn’t actually for sale at the moment. However, Dallas-based Woodbine Development Corp. is still working to develop a master plan that could eventually be developed, should it be approved by the city and should the land owners actually decide to sell.

As one of the fastest-growing towns in DFW, the potential for new development…

As you might’ve noticed, home price gains in DFW are significant, although there have been signs of a slowdown recently, which is great news for anyone who still plans on buying a home in 2017.

According to the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller home price index, Dallas-area home prices jumped 7.3% compared to the same time last year, which was good enough for DFW to rank fourth on the list of the 20 largest cities in the country that the home price index analyzed.

The only three cities that saw higher home price gains were Seattle, Portland, and Las Vegas. It’s also worth noting that Dallas actually tied Detroit, which also posted a 7.3% home price increase.

Nationwide, home prices jumped just 5.9% from this time last year. But considering the…

The DFW real estate market is wide-ranging, offering buyers anything from affordable condos to sprawling ranches and estates with eight-figure price tags. Among some of the more expensive and highly sought after options you’ll find available right now are luxury golf course homes, which of course not only feature jaw dropping living spaces but also easy and direct access to plenty of country club-like lifestyle amenities as well.

Believe it or not, DFW is actually one of the more underrated cities in the country for golf course homes and is usually an afterthought compared to places like South Florida, California and Las Vegas. But if you’re someone who is either moving to the DFW area or perhaps already live here and might be looking to upgrade to a…

Townhouse residences are hot right now throughout DFW, which makes sense for a variety of different reasons. Often more affordable than a detached single-family residence while also providing a bit more living space and privacy than a condo, townhomes for sale in DFW almost feel like the perfect in between option that’s hard to pass up if you’re in the market for a new place to live.

One particular townhouse option that happened to catch our eye recently is situated up in the heart of Farmer’s Branch, which sits only about a quick 20 minute drive from downtown Dallas.

Dubbed Vintage Place Townhomes, this 41-unit urban-style community offers potential buyers four different designs, uniquely blending modern with traditional, and also incorporating some…

In case you missed it, news broke earlier this summer about a spectacular new apartment development that’s being planned for downtown Dallas, and if all goes according to plan, it would be the tallest tower to be built in Dallas in roughly three decades.

Being developed by Chicago-based AMLI Residential, the apartment high-rise is planned to stand 45-stories high and be located on Field Street up on downtown’s north side. But because AMLI’s new project will also be situated next door to Fountain Place—one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in all of Dallas—the design for the new high-profile tower is extra special and not just your typical glass box.

In fact, understanding the importance and the significance of the new tower, AMLI hired…

News about Amazon possibly building a new headquarters complex near Dallas has the area buzzing, especially those working in the commercial real estate industry. According to reports, though, the mega digital retailer is looking for more than just economic incentives while deciding where to setup a secondary head office in the U.S., and labor supply and business environment are also two primary issues.

To put things in perspective, the Dallas News is reporting that Amazon’s new office campus would be about a $5 billion investment, and would also be about five times what Toyota spent building their fancy new North American headquarters up in Plano.

Furthermore, a possible new Amazon headquarters would have a projected employment of about 50,000…

One of Uptown’s most high-profile apartment developments has finally opened its doors after being under construction for nearly two years.

Standing 20 stories high and housing 261 apartment residences, along with over 11,000 square feet of retail space,  M-Line Tower at Bowen and McKinney Avenue was built on the site of the widely popular Café Express restaurant, which didn’t please many Uptown residents when the project was first proposed.

But now, almost two full years later, it’s hard not to be impressed with what this new luxury rental tower has to offer, especially from a lifestyle standpoint.

Along with being situated right in the heart of one of the most popular neighborhoods in Dallas, M-Line Tower also provides future residents with a…
