CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN ON LAST PHASE LAKESIDE VILLAGE

Developers secured $41 million in financing to move forward with the last phase of Lakeside Village in Flower Mound, TX.  The 40-acre Lakeside Village development will include shops, restaurants, offices and residences on Grapevine Lake and will be the final phase of the 165-acre lakeside DFW development on Long Prairie Rd. on the northeast shore of Grapevine Lake.  Construction is set to begin in early 2020 and will include an amphitheater, bluff trails, six restaurants, wedding chapel, new streets, underground parking garage, sidewalks, landscaping and other public amenities.

New Fort Worth DevelopmentNorth Forth Worth has been one of the fastest growing parts of DFW in recent years and a massive new residential development that’s being planned should keep that trend moving in the same direction for the foreseeable future. 

According to reports, Dallas-based PMB Capital Investments has purchased more than 3,400 acres of land for a 10,000 home development, which will be located near where State Highway 114 and U.S. 287 intersect. 

As noted by the Dallas Morning News, the estimated cost of the development is more than $3.5 million, and when finished, it’ll be one of the largest residential communities in the region.

Dallas Luxury Homes For SaleNorth Texas home values are at record levels right now so it’s hardly surprising that nearly 1,400 million-dollar homes have sold in DFW so far this year. 

But even despite that kind of sales volume, the luxury residential market in Dallas is far behind many other major cities and only ranks 21st among U.S. markets with the most million-dollar homes.

According to data from Lendingtree, just over 2 percent of Dallas homes are valued over $1 million, while the median single-family home price sits at just $270,000. 

For comparison, more than 56% of home sales in San Jose exceed the million-dollar threshold and 42% of homes in San Francisco trade above that level too. 

But towards the end of this past summer, only about 1,500 homes actively listed…
