Dallas-Fort Worth Ranks High For Flexible Office Space

Those looking for more flexible office space may want to take their search to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It recently took one of the top spots when it comes to the nation’s largest co-working and flexible office markets.
Dallas-Fort Worth came in at number two, behind only Manhattan in relation to the number of short-term offices. The ranking is part of a new report by CBRE Group, a commercial real estate services and investment firm.
North Texas now has more than five-million square feet of office flex space. That includes short-term rentals, shared office and co-working space.
Overall, flexible office space is barely more than two-percent of the total local office space in Dallas-Fort Worth. Even so, it’s enough to give Dallas-Fort Worth more…

While some jobs went away in early 2020, the Dallas-Fort Worth area is currently seeing some big gains when it comes to construction jobs. According to some of the latest figures from the Associated General Contractors of America, the region’s building sector saw a gain of 7,400 jobs this past December, when compared to the previous December.
The new Uptown Dallas luxury high-rise apartment at 2811 Maple Tower received the green light by Developers and the 300,000 square foot building is planned to be completed by 2024. Crescent real estate has been working on the new high-rise apartments in Dallas, TX since 2018 which will be located between the landmark Stoneleigh Hotel and the Crescent on Maple Avenue near Cedar Springs Rd.
For at least four months in a row, single-family home construction permits have been down in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The latest figures come from November 2021.
It’s a new year, but that may not mean much change in terms of rising home prices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. While the price gains in 2022 may not be as bad as they’ve been in recent time, price increases could likely continue in the foreseeable future.
