The new construction market all throughout the DFW area is thriving right now, and if you don’t believe us, consider the fact that 10% of all homes currently under construction in the U.S. are being built in Texas, with many of those of course located in the Dallas area.

DFW Real Estate For Sale Want to know just how just how crazy the housing market is not just in DFW but throughout the entire state of Texas right now? Well, consider this: according to recent building permit analysis by Trulia, one in every 10 new homes being built in the U.S. is either in Dallas, Houston, or Austin.

There’s also this: in 2017 alone, these three major cities combined are on pace to build almost 130,000 new houses, which is enough to represent more than 10% of all new construction nationwide this year. Best Cities For First Time Home BuyersThe DFW real estate market has been red hot over the last couple years, and a shortage of inventory has continued to drive home prices up all over North Texas. But despite rising prices and the challenges home buyers in DFW are facing right now, it’s still considered one of the best places in the country for first-time home buyers.
