Dallas Easter Events 2015

Spring is one of our favorite times of the year, and it also happens to be one of the busiest seasons for local events, festivities, and various other fun things to do around DFW. After all, when you combine the weather FINALLY starting to warm up, the school year coming to a close, the start of the highly-anticipated baseball season just right around the corner, and the burn of yet another disappointing end to the Cowboys season long behind us (sort of), who isn’t ready for springtime in Dallas-Fort Worth?

Despite spring having officially arrived last week, many of us really don’t fully recognize this fun and exciting time of year until the Easter holiday rolls around, which now happens to be just one week away. Every year, tons of Easter events take…

DFW Real Estate For Sale

An interesting new trend is happening in new home communities around the country, but it’s especially prevalent here in the North Texas area. It wasn’t long ago that large scale residential communities were centered on country clubs, golf courses, and oversized community centers that offered any number of over-the-top amenities to its members and local residents. But today, things are seemingly much different.

According to the National Golf Foundation, golf course closings around the U.S. are taking place at an alarming rate and have outnumbered new golf course openings for an eighth straight year. Building and maintaining even a modest golf course by today’s standards is an extremely expensive endeavor, and when you factor in fewer and fewer people are…

Aura Cedar Apartments For Rent, Oak Lawn

Dallas’ booming apartment market continues to make headlines, and most recently, plans for an impressive new 387-unit Class A rental community were announced for the Oak Lawn neighborhood. Being developed by Trinsic Residential Group, Aura Cedar apartments will be conveniently located at Cedar Springs Road and the Dallas North Tollway, and just blocks from Aura Wycliff apartments—another apartment community by the same Dallas-based developer.

Renderings for the new Aura Cedar project have also been released, and at first glance, the new 4-story, urban-style rentals look to fit in perfectly with this rapidly developing part of town.

The entire project will be set of 6.1 acres, and the building’s frame will wrap around a structured parking garage that…

Downtown Dallas High-Rise Condos For SaleIn case you missed it, Bleu Ciel is arguably one of Dallas’ most exciting new real estate developments currently in the works, both on the residential and commercial side of things. As pointed out yesterday, this towering 33-story tower will be the city’s first high-rise condominium project since the end of the housing crash that started all the way back in 2008, perhaps creating an even bigger buzz around it than what we’d normally see for such a development.

But given ground was just broken on Bleu Ceil towards the end of last year, condo buyers won’t see delivery for these lavish and luxurious new Dallas condos until towards the end of 2016, leaving many who might be in the market right now to find other alternatives.

As you may know, the…

Blue Ciel Condos For Sale

Regardless of how much you've heard or read about The Bleu Ciel, it’s hard to overstate how impressive this sprawling 33-story tower will be once completed. Harwood International, one of Uptown Dallas’ biggest developers, is behind this legendary new project and although its interior finishes and lavish amenities are certainly garnering a lot of attention among those in the Dallas real estate industry and luxury home buyers alike, Bleu Ciel is also significant because it marks the first high-rise condominium building to be developed in Dallas since the end of the recession.

If the name Harwood International sounds familiar, you might remember they also built the 31-story Azure condo tower back in 2005, which continues to be one of the city’s most sought…

Victory Park Redevelopment

The much-needed and highly anticipated redevelopment of Victory Park is well underway and the project’s first wave of restaurants and retailers for this exciting new development was just announced.

The goal of the revamped Victory Park is to enhance walk-ability and connectivity between the southern end of the neighborhood and one of the city’s most visited attractions, the American Airlines Center.

Various streetscape improvements will be added, a raised crosswalk and a median on Olive Street to connect to Victory Park Lane and Victory Plaza will be installed, and a new signalized crosswalk to aid pedestrians looking to safely cross over to the American Airlines Center will all be part of an effort to attract businesses and new residents to…

Walnut Place, Dallas Luxury Real Estate

Luxury homes on the Dallas real estate market are one thing, but a $100 million estate is a whole different ball game. In fact, homes at that level are few and far between for any market, but that’s exactly what will soon be publicly listed on the local DFW MLS.

Once the most expensive home in America, the property formerly known as Crespi-Hicks Estate, now “Walnut Place,” is set to re-enter the market for a cool price of $100 million, and after you consider everything it includes, you might just think that’s a bargain price.

Set on 25 acres in Dallas’ affluent Preston Hollow neighborhood, more than 35,000 square feet of living space encompass this massive four-story home, which includes 10 bedrooms, 12 full bathrooms, and five half bathrooms.

West Dallas Rentals & Apartments

Dallas’  Uptown neighborhood is one of our favorite parts of the city, and with the rapid rate of development that’s been going on there for roughly the past decade, it's safe to say we’re not the only ones who love this lively and vibrant part of town.

Towards the end of last month, news broke about Developer Leon Capital Group breaking ground on a chic, urban-style apartment project right next door to the Cityplace complex. When finished, the new apartment community will stand six stories high and house more than 150 individual rental units—just the latest of several new construction apartment projects currently underway in Uptown.

But with land prices now at over $200 a square foot and fewer and fewer empty lots to build on, developers are now asking…
