Fiji Townhomes For SaleIf you don't think affordable townhouses are moving faster than ever in DFW, take a closer look at what’s going on over at the Fiji Townhomes—a red hot new project from Sphinx Development.

Located over in the trendy Bishop Arts District, the Fiji Townhomes development first caught our eye all the way back in September of 2016, around the time when the project first hit the MLS. Not long after, we also highlighted the project again in February when options and opportunities left to buy here were already limited.

Fast forward roughly 8 months and now phase ll of the development completely sold out while still under construction, with phase lll already being planned.

Along with quality construction and a highly desirable location, Fiji Townhomes

Luxury Homes For Sale in Dallas While Dallas is considered relatively affordable compared to other major coastal markets like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, plenty of ultra-luxe homes, mansions, and estates help fill out the DFW housing market that are easily just as impressive as any other luxury home you’d find elsewhere.

Currently, the most expensive home for sale in Dallas is the former Tom Hicks estate, which actually just sold back towards the beginning of 2016 and is now back on the market for a cool $48.9 million. Other elite properties currently on the open market range from $10 to $25 million, and the inventory of single-family homes $1 million and over is now just over 500 listings overall.

But if you’re truly wanting to only see the best of the best, take

Dallas Apartments It doesn’t seem like all that long ago that $25,000 a month for an apartment in downtown Dallas was laughable. But heading into the final 2 months of 2017, that’s exactly what the asking price is for the city’s most expensive condo for rent.

Not surprisingly, this particular unit is housed inside The Residences at W Dallas, which is arguably the most exclusive residential tower in all of Texas.

Even still, a five figure asking price for a DFW apartment was once a rare occurrence, and not even that long ago. But as more jobs and more people continue to pour into North Texas, prices are going up and so is the inventory of ultra-luxe apartments that command an ultra-luxe budget.

At the time of this post, just 7 condos for rent are listed for

According to a recent piece in the Dallas Morning News, the redevelopment cost of Corrigan Tower and the old Tower Petroleum building next door exceeds $100 million, but that includes a total overhaul from the basement all the way up to the rooftop deck.

Rental prices at Corrigan Tower are

With the Dallas real estate market so hot, finding what you want for the price you want has become increasingly difficult. And if you also happen to be in the market for a home style or property-type that’s in high-demand, the two most dreaded words in real estate might soon become your reality: bidding war.

One particular home style that has had somewhat of a resurgence in recent months, at least here in Dallas, is the mid-century modern design, which of course has always had a faithful following over the years even before this latest renaissance.

Most notably, mid-century modern homes are almost synonymous with the Northern California real estate market, especially just north of San Francisco in Marin County and Novato counties. But here closer

With all the new construction happening around DFW, it’s easy to overlook a project or two unintentionally, regardless of how big or small some of these new developments are that are continually coming through the pipeline.

One such project that recently caught our eye is the fabulous new Windrose Tower, which is currently being builtin suburban Plano. A luxury high-rise of spectacular proportions, Windrose Tower will be situated right in the heart of the award-winning Legacy West development, a mixed-use project that will also include 400,000 square feet of retail, entertainment, and restaurant space.

Contemporary yet classic, the exterior of Windrose Tower is essentially all glass, and it’ll be the first of its kind for Plano, only adding to its

The apartment market all throughout the North Texas region has been on fire, but after several years are significant rent increases, it appears price hikes are starting to slow a bit.

According to a report from the Dallas Morning News, data from RealPage Inc. shows apartment rents were only about 3% higher in the 3rd quarter compared to the 3rd quarter of last year, which only represents half of the 6% rent hike from 2015 to 2016.

Perhaps most encouraging is that prices are slowing even despite little decline in occupancy, which is great news for anyone already living in an apartment, or of course still searching for a new apartment in DFW.

Many of the large-scale apartment developments have also begun leasing as well, adding plenty of new
