If you’re looking for the country’s best places for careers and business, Dallas and Fort Worth are two of the best. Forbes has come out with their 15th annual list of the best places for business and careers. They chose both Fort Worth and Dallas as a part of their top 25.

What are the Criteria for the List?

The list made by Forbes uses certain criteria to choose the locations with best business and careers. They consider factors, such as an educated labor forces, a strong business climate, and a business climate is fueled by low cost.

They chose cities with lower business startup costs than the national average, cities with a workforce filled with college graduates and cities with more high school graduates than the national average.

Point Noble is located in the southwestern portion of Flower Mound. It is located on north shore of Lake Grapevine. This luxury neighborhood contains 45 homes and contains both guarded and gated neighborhood entrances.  

Homes average about $857,000 and median size is 6,000 square feet. Lot sizes are around 1.5 acres. Most homes were built between 1996 and 2004.

Luxury Homes in Colleyville, TXColleyville is a city and suburb of Fort Worth, Texas.  It was established in the early 1900’s and is currently located about 12 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The population is about 22,807 according to the 2010 census.

The top four neighborhoods in Colleyville with million dollar homes include:

For barbeque lovers, you won’t want to miss the Clark’s Outpost in Tioga, Texas. It’s located at 101 Highway 377 at Gene Autry Drive.

Although it’s just over an hour drive from downtown Dallas, it’s definitely worth the trip. You won’t want to miss their smoked briskets, French fried corn-on-the-cob and the seven inch Coconut Cream Pie.


The food at Clark’s Outpost is one of a kind. They smoke their meat for 72 hours before serving it. Most places smoke their meat for a few hours on a low setting, but Clark’s lasts 3 days to get it just right.

There’s no secret to their amazing taste; they just put the meat on the grill and let the wood do the work. The smoke gives it a perfect flavor.

The Irving Arts Center has announced they will be opening Peruvian Gold, an exhibit on Ancient Treasures Unearthed, this October through December. They will be featuring this amazing collection of ancient silver and gold artifacts from royal tombs in Peru. Here is more of what to expect of this upcoming exhibit.
