Luxury Homes in DFWLuxury home sales have been on the rise for several years in North Texas but new data is suggesting that trend may be coming to an end. 

In 2018, area real estate agents sold a record 1,743 million-dollar properties. This year, 1,382 million-dollar homes have sold through the first nine months, which essentially equals no change compared to last year. 

Furthermore, inventory for ultra-luxury homes is up roughly 5% right now, further pointing to a bit of a slowdown for this particulate segment of the market. 

Over the last few years, sales for million-dollar properties have seen double-digit percentage increases. But earlier this month, more than a dozen DFW-area mansions were listed on the market for an asking price north of $10 million.

Eastline Apartments DallasThe apartment construction boom in Dallas seems to still be in full effect as construction just recently got underway on a massive new transit-oriented development near SMU. 

Being called Eastline, Chicago-based developer Convexity Properties is behind the new 12-acres mixed-use project, which will combine two existing structures with a fancy new 28-story tower. 

When finished, Eastline will have retail space, office space, a hotel, and luxury high-rise apartments, which will offer superb views of downtown Dallas.

Home Inventory DFWA recent increase in home sales has led to inventory being at its lowest level in six years across the U.S.

According to newly released figures, the number of homes on the market dropped more than 6% in September, halting several consecutive months of rising inventory.

In Dallas-Fort Worth, however, inventory has ticked up slightly compared to this same time last year, and rising home prices, which are up more than 4% year-over-year, could be a contributing factor.

But at the same time, national home prices are also up 4.8% compared September 2018, demonstrating the spike hasn’t impacted sales across the country.

It is worth noting that the rise in DFW inventory is minimal at best. Analysts say the DFW area collectively recorded just a 0.4%…

M3 Ranch Mansfield TXAffordable new construction homes aren’t always easy to find in North Texas but developers are set to break ground on a massive new community in Mansfield that will feature newly built single-family residences that start in the mid $300,000s. 

Called M3 Ranch, the development will encompass roughly 900 acres and be positioned near Highway 287 on Heritage Parkway. 

Along with 1,600 homes, M3 Ranch is also slated to include several neighborhood parks, an amenity center, and a number of commercial developments within the master plan as well.
