Frisco New Construction DevelopmentIt seems like monster residential developments with plans to add hundreds of new homes are popping up all over DFW, and local home builder and developer Green Brick Partners Inc. is just the latest to get in on all the action.

According to a recent report from the Dallas Morning News, Green Brick just acquired three parcels of land in suburban Frisco, which will be used to build and develop over 1,000 new homes.

The project will be located on Coit Road and Eldorado Parkway and include anywhere from 172 to 354 homes, not to mention offer a range of property-types and price ranges.

Construction for one community called Frisco Springs is already underway, and other neighborhoods are expected to begin construction over the next couple years.

DFW Real Estate Market in 2017The DFW real estate market had a tremendous 2017, and if you follow this blog regularly, you’ve certainly noticed us writing about it consistently for the past 12 months. But for additional perspective on just how busy the marketplace was in 2017 consider this: nearly 40% of all Dallas-area homes that sold last year did so for over the asking price.
