New Mixed Use Urban Design Village at District 1444 in Dallas Uptown HarwoodThe District 1444, also known as The Design Village, is located in Dallas, Texas in the Harwood urban district. It is an innovative and new planned property that the Harwood International plan to make public in early spring of 2014. With the creative notion of implementing restaurants, galleries, gardens, and shopping centers in a one and two bedroom apartment building, the creators of the The Design Village are providing their residents with a more convenient way of living.

The design village in Dallas will be five stories, which includes 224 spacious apartment units. Harwood District in Uptown Dallas will also include in their project a pool, game room, and fire pit.

Living in the uptown area of Dallas, Texas has its many perks, such as the stigma for being one of the most pedestrian friendly cities in Dallas. This is excellent for those who have children who walk home for school or those who have children who are quite fond of walking to a nearby friend's house. The city has added many sidewalks, signs, and has engaged in other steps to ensure the safety of their pedestrians. Also, public transportation is nearby, including DART, bus lines, and the Dallas West Village Mckinney Avenue Trolley.

The Uptown Dallas district offers great public and private school systems including North Dallas High, Notre Dame School, and Dallas Christian Academy. Residents at District 1444 will also have easy access to several health and fitness centers, worship centers, salons and spas.  Although residents of District 1444 will have everything within reach and no reason to leave the Dallas Design Village, there are great surrounding areas that offer curbside dining, trendy shops, and entertainment including West Village, Victory Park, Arts District, and Turtle Creek/Oak Lawn.  If you are searching for the ultimate live/work/play lifestyle in the Dallas Harwood Uptown Design District, be sure and check out the luxury urban apartments at District 1444.
