Luxury New Construction DFW

New construction inventory, or lack thereof, has been a big topic of discussion in the real estate industry, especially as market conditions only continue to heat up in the early part of 2017.

With more jobs and more people moving to DFW than ever before, finding and securing the right home can sometimes be challenging. But if you happen to be searching for homes in the luxury market, you might find a few more options and opportunities available, even when it comes to brand new construction.

At the time of this post, 28 brand new construction homes that were either finished, or can be finished, in 2017 were listed on the market for a minimum of $2 million, with the most expensive listing priced at just under $7 million. That particular home, which is located in Highland Park, is a stunning, custom-built home from home builder Robert Elliott, and designed by Dallas-based Stocker Hoesterey Montenegro Architects.

Most luxury new construction homes listed feature five or six bedrooms and designs and finishes that certainly mesh well with a premium price tag. But even despite many of these homes costing a pretty penny, in a market as hot as DFW’s, most of these dream homes won’t last long either.
