Northwest Dallas Golf CommunitiesIn a part of Texas that has such a thriving golf scene, it’s hard to pinpoint just where Dallas’ top golf course community is located. Like any new home purchase, there’s certainly a lot to consider when making a final decision—and if factoring in the golf course and it’s club amenities is part of the equation when ultimately deciding which place feels right, your assessment of each property (or community) may be a bit more complex than simply deciding on a home situated in a subdivision without golfing facilities.

Many Dallas suburbs offer top-notch golf courses that nearly any home buyer would enjoy. But if you’re truly looking luxury and exclusivity, perhaps the Northwest Dallas suburbs may be the perfect place for you to eventually call home. Towns like Flower Mound and Plano are especially known for world-class golfing, but other nearby communities worth considering with excellent golf clubs include Coppell, Westlake, Frisco, and Argyle.

As mentioned, it’s certainly a challenge to narrow down Dallas’ best and most highly-sought after golf course communities, a short list of what we consider to be some of the best include the following:

Stonebriar – Frisco, TX – $400,000 to $8+ Million

Conveniently located and consisting of several different sub-communities (Village of Stonebriar Village, Village of Stonebriar Park, Creekside at Stonebriar, and Chase at Stonebriar), there’s obviously a lot of choices and a lot to love when it comes to available homes for sale. Homes in the Stonebriar community, as a whole, generally start around $450,000 and can go up to nearly $8 million. In addition, there’s 2 individual golf course here for you to enjoy, making it any golf lovers’ paradise.

Vaquero – Westlake, TX – $1 Million to $12+ Million

Arguably Dallas’ most exclusive golf course community, Vaquero offers some of the most expensive homes for sale in all of Texas, let alone Dallas. Of course the community itself is centered on the private golf course designed by Tom Fazio, there’s actually much more to the Vaquero community than just the golfing. The club here also features fabulous tennis amenities, a day spa, community center, and so much more. Most homes here start over $1 million and can reach as much as $12 million.

Coyote Ridge – Carrollton, TX – $200,000 to $700,000

Coyote Ridge in Carrollton, TX is one of our communities-of-choice because while it may not offer as much exclusivity and prestige as Stonebriar or Vaquero, there’s still a sprawling 26,000 square foot clubhouse with luxury locker rooms, an on-site restaurant, and a grand ball room featured within the community, which still gives this location a true upscale feel. And the best part—homes here are relatively affordable in comparison to other golf communities in the area. Look for listing prices to be anywhere from $200,000 to just over $700,000.
