Flower Mound is home to many gated communities for residents preferring a gated and guarded neighborhood entrance. Here are four popular choices found throughout the area.
Point Noble is located in the southwestern portion of Flower Mound. It is located on north shore of Lake Grapevine. This luxury neighborhood contains 45 homes and contains both guarded and gated neighborhood entrances.
Homes average about $857,000 and median size is 6,000 square feet. Lot sizes are around 1.5 acres. Most homes were built between 1996 and 2004.
Students in Point Noble can attend Liberty Elementary, McKamy Middle School,and Flower Mound High School in the Lewisville school district.
Estates at Tour 18
On the west side of Flower Mound is the luxurious Estates at Tour 18, which is also gated and guarded at neighborhood entrances. This neighborhood is going to have 175 homes when it’s complete and has been in the works since 1994. Median house size 5,800 square feet and costs $813,000 on average.
Parents can send children to the Argyle school district which includes Hilltop Elementary, Argyle Intermediate and Argyle Middle School, as well as Argyle High School. Along with gated entrances, they offer a neighborhood clubhouse, home owners association and the Tour 18 Dallas Golf Club.
Another smaller neighborhood in southwest Flower Mound is The Landing. There will be about 50 homes when completed and it was started in 1998. The lots are about 2 acres in size and the house sizes are 7,000 square feet on average. The average home cost is $1 million.
Students can attend Lewisville school district schools including Liberty Elementary, McKamy Middle School and Flower Mound High School. In addition to the gated neighborhood entrance, amenities of this neighborhood include equestrian facility, a private lake and pond, as well as greenbelts.
North Central Flower Mound is home to Bridlewood neighborhood, a huge neighborhood with gated neighborhood entrances. They also offer residents a pool, tennis courts, jogging paths, fitness center, basketball courts, community center and playgrounds. This large neighborhood contains 1,250 homes and is one of the largest gated communities found in Flower Mound.
Home sizes are around 4,700 sq. ft. and cost on average $575,000. Students in Bridlewood use the Lewisville school district including Bridlewood Elementary School, Downing Middle School and Marcus High School.
