Anywhere you can find dirt and some wheels, you have an opportunity for off-roading. Unfortunately, you may also be dealing with fines and trespassing charges if you just take your ATV and enjoy any dirt path you come across. Fortunately, there are a lot of places you can go to enjoy off-roading in DFW without worrying about getting in trouble.

Northwest OHV Park - 2914 Highway 101, Bridgeport

Northwest OHV Park is a park you can enjoy for just $15. It features 25 miles of various terrains that are perfect for off-roading. ATVs, SUVs, and bikes are all welcomed to come and enjoy the exciting terrain this park has to offer. Just remember the park is open from 8AM to 7PM and you need $15 in cash to get in.

Trophy Club Park At Lake Grapevine - 2885 Trophy Park Drive, Trophy Club

There are a few different off-road sites available at this part. There are even some off-road sites that are geared towards beginners. This is also just a beautiful park and a great place to spend the day looking around. From 8AM until the sun goes down, you are free to enjoy the trails here.

Rock Trails - 5310 Coleman Ranch Road, Tolar

The rules on these trails are strict, which make it a desirable place for serious riders. Just don’t bring your teenagers (or make sure they are riding and you are driving). All drivers have to be licensed in order to be on these trails. As long as you don’t mind the rules, this is a fun and safe place to ride.

There are some more relaxed parks with trails and some more serious ones, but there is something for everyone. If you have a hankering for off-roading, you will find somewhere to go with all of these options to consider.
