It is no secret that Dallas, Texas is home to one of the most beautiful skylines in the United States. Where you choose to gaze at this breathtaking skyline is the difference between looking at a good view and looking at a great view. Here are some of the best spots for viewing the gorgeous Dallas skyline.
Lake Cliff Park - 300 E. Colorado Blvd., Dallas
Lake Cliff Park is the name of a 44 and a half acre park that is slightly north of Oak Cliff. The park was established in the year 1912. What you will really come to enjoy about this park is the fact that it is never crowded. It is the perfect place to go when you want to take a meal and a blanket, so you can enjoy the skyline over a nice picnic.
Chase Tower - 2200 Ross Ave., Dallas
The view from the Chase Tower is spectacular. On the fortieth floor of this tower, there is an opening in the building called the "sky window". It is also more commonly known as the Sky Lobby. The view is great because you are at eye level with the skyline.
Klyde Warren Park - 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas
Klyde Warren Park is one of the most unusual parks in Dallas. It is perfectly positioned on top of the freeway which gives you the perfect spot to enjoy a 360 degree view of the skyline. This is a great place to go if you want to take a picture with the skyline as the backdrop as you will not have to worry about anything obstructing the view.
These are just a few of the best spots for you to go when you want to get a real look at the Dallas skyline. Fair Park, the Reunion Tower, and Trinity Groves are also great options. Technically, you could go to a different spot every day of the week and get a slightly different view.
