The REI store even includes climbing gears for children. The best part about the store is its indoor mechanical climbing wall where you can practice and sharpen your rock climbing skills. You can even take a rock climbing class at REI. The store is open from 10am to 9pm from Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays.
Summit Gyms - Locations in Carrollton, Dallas and Grapevine
Summit Gyms provides a portable rock climbing wall available for local events. It stands 23 feet tall and provides four climbable sides perfect for all ages. They also have indoor rock climbing walls and provide plenty of classes and camps for climbers of all ages. A day pass ranges from $14 to $20, while a monthly membership is $50. They also offer a punch card for 5 visits, which is $75.
Summit Gyms is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 10pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 8pm.
Canyons Rock Climbing - 7164 Technology Drive, Suite 202, Frisco
A gym with a large indoor climbing wall, Canyon Rock Climbing is a great choice for novice to expert climbers. They will also be introducing a new bouldering wall very soon. Daily passes are $14, while monthly memberships range from $35 to $130, depending on the type of membership. They also offer annual memberships.
