The New Year is nearly here and it's time to start planning for new events. January may not be the busiest month, but there are still plenty of events to enjoy. If you didn't get enough during the holiday season, you can find a great event to attend this January. Here are some of the top choices coming to the Dallas area.

Bird Tweets - January 2nd

If you want to enjoy some time with your family, this mini-camp is an excellent choice. You can enjoy some great bird watching and plenty of fun indoor and outdoor activities. This event will be held at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Brides Against Breast Cancer - Dallas Charity Bridal Event and Trunk Sale - January 4th

Brides can come out and enjoy a great charity event with plenty of excellent items for sale. This event provides some of the best gowns from top wedding professionals within the area. Hundreds will be on hand and ma priced under $1,800. The event will be held at Le Meridian Dallas, The Stoneleigh.

Mochitsuki New Year' Celebration - January 18th

This celebration is a traditional celebration for the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth. It's a great family event with taiko drumming, tea ceremony, Japanese folk dance and so much more. The event will be held at the fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. Cafeteria.

Dallas Bridal Show - January 24th and 25th

DFW Winter Boat Expo - January 30th to February 8th

If you love the water and you want to discover all that the boat industry has to offer, this is the show for you. Over 650 new boats will be on hand, along with plenty of vendors for boats and products. This event will be held at the Dallas Market Hall for ten days.
