The Victorian Murder and Mayhem Tours – 2540 Farmers Branch Ln, Farmers Branch

Over at the Farmers Branch Historical Park will be the Edgar Allan Poe-inspired Tour of the Victorian House known as the Victorian Murder & Mayhem Tours. It’s taking place on October 29th and October 30th from 5-7:30pm, just in time for everyone’s favorite spooky holiday.

You’ll learn about the infamous Victorian murders and mayhem inspired by the words of Poe and real historical events. You’ll learn about interesting stories like the Servant Girl Annihilator and more. It’s free to attend for adults 16 years and older!

Grapevine Mills Guinness Record Attempt – 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine

You can’t miss a moment of potential history. Grapevine Mills is attempting the Guinness world record for pumpkin carving on October 30th at 6pm. It costs $5 for admission and you can register at 4:30pm that day to be a part of history in Grapevine.

The record is going to be to attempt to carve the most pumpkins simultaneously but they need at least 1,500 pumpkin carvers and they get to take home their 25lb pumpkin and carving tool set afterwards. Bring the kids in costumes and don’t worry parents; the family-friendly environment isn’t allowing weapons, scary costumes or masks of any kind.

Spooky Symphony – 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson

Be sure to check out the Eisemann Center’s Spooky Symphony this October 25th at 3pm where you can enjoy the Plano Symphony Orchestra performance. It costs $9-$20 and features pre-concert activities like a petting zoo and craft station in the lobby, music from Star Wars and Harry Potter, and you’ll see Casper prancing on stage during the performance.

The Green Elephant will be hosting a family and dog-friendly Halloween night costume party at 8pm and the Messina Hof Winery & Resort is hosting a Halloween Murder Mystery Wine Dinner on Halloween night at 6pm for those that want a great date night spot!
