The Dallas-Fort Worth area is full of great golf courses and communities. The area attracts two PGA tournaments every year and plenty lower-level tournaments, as well. Here are three of the top golf communities found throughout the area.
Estates at Tour 18
This luxury community is found in the western part of Flower Mound. About 175 homes will be found here once the build-out is completed. Most of the homes will include a 1.5 to 2.5 acre lot and the area also features a gated and guarded entrance.
The golf course, Tour 18 Dallas Golf Club, is one of the most unique in the area. Each hole is designed to resemble a famous hole from some of the top golf courses in the world. Homes in this neighborhood range from $485K to about $1.1 million and range in size from 3,900 to 7,400 square feet.
Another great golf community, Prestonwood Hills is found in West Plano. The neighborhood is much larger than the Estates at Tour 18 and includes over 700 homes. Most of the homes are on lots smaller than a half-acre.
The Hills Club of Prestonwood Country Club serves the area, along with a neighborhood park, a playground and plenty of other outdoor amenities. The average home in this area ranges from $258K to about $770K. The homes in Prestonwood Hills range from 1,900 to 4,900 square feet.
Coyote Rides is a Carrollton golf community with about 320 homes. Most of the homes were constructed between 2000 and 2006 and the homes sit on lots ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 acres in size.
The Coyote Ridge Golf Club serves this area and is known as one of the best clubs in the area. Along with the golf course, residents enjoy the neighborhood park, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a club house and plenty other amenities. The homes in the area range from $313K to $510K and the size ranges from 3,000 to 4,800 square feet.
Any of these three neighborhoods will suit the golfer. However, many other types of residents will also enjoy living in these communities.
