Dallas Home Prices

If you need more evidence that the DFW real estate market is scorching hot right now, have a look at the latest S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index for 2014. To date, home prices in the DFW region are now 13 percent higher than what was seen before the recession, and an astounding 30 percent higher since the beginning of 2012.

According to a recent piece in the Dallas Morning News, rent prices in the area were up more than 5% from January 2014 to January 2015, and in Fort Worth, increases in apartment rents have jumped even more at 6.4% from this time last year.

While many different factors come into play as to why DFW’s rental and apartment market is so hot right now, many attribute it’s equally hot job market as perhaps the primary source. Last year, the Dallas-Fort Worth…

Along with the much needed modernization program, restrictions that governed and restricted traffic at Dallas Love Field have also been lifted—a change that will undoubtedly help boost business in the area and generate renewed development interest that just wasn't there when such limitations were in place.

Until just recently, non-stop flights to destinations within Texas, as well as all neighboring states surrounding Texas weren't permitted out of Dallas Love Field,…
