Stephan Pyles Restaurant is Dallas’ favorite downtown Southwestern restaurant. It’s located at 1807 Ross Avenue in Suite 200 in downtown Dallas and was considered one of the 100 best restaurants in 2013 by DMagazine. It’s top-notch service in a stunning dining room with creative cuisine which makes this a popular choice for lunch or dinner.

Chef Pyles was also DMagazine’s Readers Choice for Best Chef last year and the restaurant is remembered for their specialty dishes like the coriander-rubbed lamb chops, the whole fish scented with fennel and the Hell Cake dessert. What to expect

The restaurant is open all week except Sundays. Stop in for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 2pm and dinner Monday through Saturday from 6pm to 10pm with 11pm closing on Fridays and Saturdays. They have a full bar, extensive wine list, happy hour specials and they even do catering. Sit in the beautiful dining room or enjoy outdoor seating. They are wheelchair accessible and offer valet parking for $5.

They are located at Ross Avenue and St. Paul Street in the Southwest Plaza of the Dallas Arts District. Dress in business casual and shorts are acceptable at lunch. Don’t worry about a jacket or tie but don’t show up in shorts at dinner! They are open all year except for major holidays.


The menu is full of innovate, major flavors like spicy, smoky and bold tastes. The multi-cultural mix and sense of style is apparent in Plyes’ creations. Enjoy New Millennium Southwestern Cuisine with food from Texas, South America, the Middle East, Spain and the Mediterranean.

Food is prepared on site, even the bread, with the freshest ingredients and an emphasis on organic. Enjoy soups, salads, entrees and desserts for dinner. The Ceviche Bar features flat breads, pizzas, salads and raw bar items. Lunch is going to focus on salads, sandwiches and main courses. Enjoy a handcrafted cocktail or wine.
