Spoon Bar & Kitchen is your dinner destination for seafood in Dallas. Chef John Tesar is known for his stylish, modern American cuisine prepared using European-based techniques. He has a no-nonsense personality and an innovative culinary perspective with over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

When he opened Spoon Bar & Kitchen in 2012, it received recognition from Condé Nast Traveler’s “Best New Restaurants in the World” plus the “Best New Restaurant in 2013” by two different publications.

About Spoon Bar & Kitchen

The restaurant is located at 8220 Westchester Drive in Dallas of Park Cities neighborhood and is open six days a week. Stop in for dinner or make a reservation Tuesday through Thursdays from 5pm to 1pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 11pm and Sundays from 5pm to 10pm. There is a special Lobster Sundays by reservation only from 5pm to 8pm.

Chef Tesar is focused on bringing exquisite seafood fare to Dallas locals and he’s doing a fantastic job.

What to expect

Expect wonderful service, moderate prices and mouth-watering delicious entrees. Start with the stunning razor clam tartare with tender bits of geoduck muscle. The dinner menu is going to offer a raw oyster bar, appetizers like the celery soup and king crab.

Enjoy a salad before digging into fish options like surf & turf, the JT’s Pastrami or the Swordfish.
