Dallas Working From HomeTwo Texas metros have topped the list for best cities suited for working at home, according to InMyArea.com, a Los Angeles-based company that compares home services available in markets all over the U.S. 

Based on technology and housing resources, the study concluded that Dallas and San Antonio scored the highest when it comes to how easy it is to work from home—something that has become much more significant to today’s workers due to the on-going pandemic. 

According to InMyArea.com's research, which involved analyzing over 800 communities across the country, low housing costs and access to high-speed internet helped both Texas cities score well and rank ahead of other top cities like Miami and Chicago specifically.

A developer has released plans for the former Dallas Cowboys facility in Irving, according to recent reports from multiple outlets. Just a couple years removed from the Cowboys moving to their new headquarters in Frisco, the old practice facility and most of the office space has already been demolished at the 36-acre complex to prep for the glistening new 230-home community.

Historic Low Mortgage Rates Dallas, TXHome buyers with affordability concerns in Dallas-Ft. The DFW real estate market is off to a great start with home and condo sales up across the board year over year for January 2020.  Collin County closed out at 899 home and condo sales up 13.7% over January 2019, Dallas County came in at 1,468 up 12.6%, Denton County 860 sales up over 23.2%, Rockwall County up 123 sales up over 20.6%, and Tarrant County at 1,518 sales up over 5.6%.  While sales are strong throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area, DFW housing inventory is still struggling in all counties except Rockwall County, falling short on pre-owned and new construction home and condo inventory levels.
