Along with being named 2014’s Best Luxury Hotel Brand, the Dallas-based hotel chain was recognized for top honors in 2011. The hotel is being recognized an affordable hot rated hotel unlike others.
The recognition was based on a study by EquiTrend that looked at purchase consideration, quality and familiarity ratings. 42,000 US consumers rated over 1,500 hotel brands to compare.
The results showed that Omni’s 60 properties throughout North America had steady gains on the purchase consideration metric in the last decade. What really put them at the top too was their quality and familiarity scores.
Most consumers prefer brands that offer a unique experience. Most hotel brands simply duplicate the experience in every location for a uniform feel. Omni however chooses to blend into the city it’s located in by reflecting the food, design, décor and beverages that makes sense for the area.
Coming in just below Omni was the W Hotels & Resorts, Ritz-Carlton and the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
