More development news for DFW—surprise, surprise! Well, it seems as if purchasing the former Hicks estate isn’t the only major move local developer Mehrdad Moayedi is making.
Also according to a recent report from the Dallas Morning News, the CEO of Centurion American Development Group has a new 800-acre residential project in suburban Mesquite currently in the works—one of the largest this community has seen in years.
Called Polo Ridge Ranch, the new development, which was just approved by city officials, will be located just south of Interstate 20 near the Trinity River and include over 1,000 single-family homes, as well as plenty of large, open spaces for residents to enjoy too. In fact, about 400 acres of the 800-acre development site will be dedicated to parks and amenities, which will only add to the community’s appeal and desirability.
But unlike many homes in the Mesquite area, Polo Ridge Ranch will feature some pretty high-end homes, some priced as high as $750,000.
The first phase of the project will include more than 200 homes, which will be built around two small community lakes. Additionally, developers hope to officially break ground for Polo Ridge Ranch sometime during the upcoming spring season.
