More residential construction is in the works for West Dallas, according to a new report from the Dallas Morning News. Oaxaca Interests, the same development group behind the trendy Sylvan | Thirty mixed-use project, has already started construction on a new 16-unit townhouse community, which only sits just two blocks away at 707 W. Commerce Street.

Designed by architect Far + Dang, each townhouse will offer 3 separate levels and have a distinctly modern look and feel, boasting a metal and wood exterior that’s perfect for anyone who loves and appreciates somewhat of an industrial flair.

This particular part of Dallas is certainly one that lacks residential options for home buyers to consider, so new development should be well-received by anyone who already lives in the area and anyone currently shopping for a new home, not to mention continue to add momentum for future development in both the short-terms and long-term.

Crimson Builders will be behind the construction and townhomes will reportedly offer between 1,380 and 1,510 square feet of total living space and start at $324,000. The community will also feature a swimming pool and plenty of guest parking as well.
