The community of Lake Highlands in Dallas is continuing to see more and more homes being listed for $1 million dollars and up. The area, with neighborhoods like White Rock Valley, has become a hotspot for high-end remodels and flips, making it a marketplace where a $1 million dollar price tag is not uncommon. But even with the growing high-end trend, Lake Highlands still maintains a wide range of home prices, which is worth noting if you're currently in the market for a new place to call home.
Currently, many of the community's lesser-priced homes feature an incredible variety of home styles, including mid-size ranch, mid-century modern, and 1970s era contemporary homes that are currently livable or even ripe for an affordable remodel.
However, as noted by many industry pros, the housing growth opportunities in the area may be partially contributed to Lake Highlands schools, which of course can be a major selling point for Dallas-area buyers and should continue to drive home values upward.
Homes within the White Rock Valley and Wallace Elementary attendance region have appreciated greatly in recent years resulting in growing interest in the market and that isn't expected to change anytime soon.
The Lake Highlands area has seen that the demand for area’s schools also brings the demand of new construction homes. Many major real estate developers consider this area a great opportunity and have invested resources into building high-end homes throughout the region.
