This year’s ArtsGoggle in Fort Worth South will be celebrating its 11th anniversary of this festival of the arts. On Saturday October 11th, the public can enjoy a free celebration of art in which local businesses will display art while the streets are filled with a block party. ArtsGoggle is currently looking to fill up spots for all creative, from musicians to painters.
What to Expect
ArtsGoggle is held in a historical district of Fort Worth. It’s going to be in an eclectic neighborhood that will attract as many as 5,000 attendees. Many people walk and bike to the event but you can also drive.
The festival will allow artists of the Near Southside community to show their talent. It will showcase both amateur artists and professionals. The event will expand from Mangolia Green Park to Daggett Avenue and to Park Place Avenue. They will offer music, art displays, food, and drink.

Fort Worth South is hosting ArtsGoggle. They are a non-profit organization whose goal is to revitalize the neighborhood.
How to get involved
ArtsGoggle is currently looking for artists of all kinds that make original work. The application fee is $25 which will support the promotional material for the event. While they aren’t charging artists to showcase their art, they do have to provide their own display items.

Who are they looking for?
They want to showcase all kinds of talent and are calling musicians, street performers, and comedians to apply to participate in one of the three urban villages. Performers are not compensated but are encouraged to accept tips and to sell merchandise. Performers can skip the application fee but space is limited for entertainment.
