Although few of us will ever be able to afford one of the many mega-mansions that are scattered around the DFW metroplex, it’s always fun to take a look at what’s currently on the market. After all, we can always at least dream of living that ultra-exclusive lifestyle, can’t we?

Of course DFW’s most expensive home currently on the market is the highly-publicized estate of local billionaire Tom Hicks, which is listed at the cool price of $100 million. And back in 2013, this 25-acre, 27,000 square foot estate was actually priced at $135 million, making it the most expensive home in the entire country.

But if $100 million is just a little rich for your blood, there’s also a $59 million 5-bed in Highland Park currently listed, or a one-of-a-kind Westlake log cabin priced at $50 million, which might actually be one of the most unique properties you’ll find at this particular price range anywhere.  

From there, prices for DFW’s most expensive homes “drop off” a bit, with the next highest priced listing being a $33.5 million stunner located in the heart of Dallas’ Preston Hollow neighborhood. An elegant mansion with spectacular grounds to match, there really isn’t anything this 15,000+ square foot beauty doesn’t offer, which also includes a close proximity to Dallas Love Field Airport by the way.
