A lot has been written about the new master planned community that’s coming to Oak Point near Lake Lewisville, but given it’s going to cost $500 million to develop and encompass roughly 500 acres of total area, you can certainly see why.
Being called Wildridge, construction for the 1,194 new homes that are planned for the community is about to begin shortly, but along with that, renderings for a fancy new, nature-inspired amenity center have also recently been released, which will eventually act as a centerpiece for this dynamic new residential development.
Included will be an outdoor pavilion and pool area, which will fully be integrated with the existing topography and blend seamlessly into the natural landscape that surrounds the gorgeous Lake Lewisville area. In addition, plenty of walking trails and small ponds are also expected to be a part of the Wildridge community, providing residents with a serene, park-like setting that makes for an almost perfect living environment for DFW’s suburban home seekers looking for the ultimate retreat.
K Hovnanian Homes, Highland Homes, and MHI McGuyer Home Builders are the primary home builders in Wildridge, as homes here will range from 1,800 to 4,800 square feet and price between $300,000 and $600,000. As development continues and properties begin to hit the MLS, we'll bring you more information about Wildridge, which according to some reports, is just the first master planned community Cresecent Communities could be bringing to North Texas.
