A Look at Master Planned Communities in Keller, Flower Mound and Highland Village

The luxury areas of Keller, Flower Mound and Highland Village are suburbs of DFW. Within these suburbs is a master planned community consisting of Wellington, Wildwood, Castlewood, Highland Shores, Hidden Lakes and more.  Here is a look at these luxury areas of Keller, Flower Mound and Highland Village.


Wellington is located within Flower Mound. It contains about 2,400 homes that date back to 1995.  The community offers amenities including:

  • Tennis courts
  • Parks
  • Lake
  • Swimming pools
  • Jogging paths
  • Children’s playground
  • Fitness center in the Community Center

Wellington’s master planned community consists of seven neighborhoods with an average home values starting at $205,000. Located in the Lewisville school district, many students go to Liberty or Wellington Elementary, McKamy Middle and Flower Mound High.


Wildwood is a luxury neighborhood of Keller. Located on the northeast area of Keller, Wildwood has 130 homes built from 2001 to 2010. Residents enjoy the community pool, sports court, playground and jogging paths. Homes range at $678,000. Students attend schools in the Keller school district which includes Florence Elementary, Bear Creek Intermediate, Keller Middle and Keller High.


Castlewood is located in northwest Highland Village. It’s still completely build-out but should have about 340 homes. Homes average $372,000 and students attend the Lewisville school district which includes Heritage Elementary, Briarhill Middle and Marcus High. They offer residents a club house, pool, parks, paths, tennis courts and playground.

Highland Shores

Another area of Highland Village is Highland Shores located on the southern shore of Lake Lewisville. The neighborhood contains 1,600 homes built from 1985 to 2007. Homes average $342,000 and the area enjoys the clubhouse, pool, tennis court, bike paths and playground.

Hidden Lakes

Hidden Lakes is located in southeast Keller and is still completing building. It will have about 1,840 homes when finished. This area offers residents the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club, club house, pools, parks and more. The community contains several neighborhoods within it that start at $204,000.
