The original is near SMU, there is one in Plano, Dallas and now Fort Worth. Due to the East Hampton Sandwich Company’s rave reviews, you won’t enjoy a quiet atmosphere with your sandwich; the lobby is so busy that you’ll be yelling to others at your table. There are 12 sandwiches on the menu. You can’t get menu items like this just anywhere. They have a knuckle and claw meat sandwich that has everybody talking. You’ll see just about every group order at least one of these. You’ll enjoy lobster, mixed greens and a buttery roll. Sandwich sides include their homemade, crunchy and addictive potato chips or the savory sweet potato fries.
Other sandwich options include the Meyer lemon chicken and the basic turkey, bacon and avocado. They serve these on a ciabatta type of roll or you can order it as a salad. The rolls come from Dallas’ Empire Baking Co. the Meyer lemon chicken sandwich comes with shredded lemony chicken, slices of watermelon radish and mixed greens.
The sandwiches here are served with inventive condiments. They have a vegetarian goat cheese, avocado featuring a red pepper aioli, and a jalapeno cream on their fried chicken and jack cheese sandwich.
Another bonus you can enjoy at East Hampton Sandwich Company is their breakfast items. While lunch and dinner are the prime time to visit, breakfast offers a build-your-own meal with eggs, sauces, breads and proteins.
