M-Line Tower Dallas UptownOne of Uptown’s most high-profile apartment developments has finally opened its doors after being under construction for nearly two years.

Standing 20 stories high and housing 261 apartment residences, along with over 11,000 square feet of retail space,  M-Line Tower at Bowen and McKinney Avenue was built on the site of the widely popular Café Express restaurant, which didn’t please many Uptown residents when the project was first proposed.

But now, almost two full years later, it’s hard not to be impressed with what this new luxury rental tower has to offer, especially from a lifestyle standpoint.

Along with being situated right in the heart of one of the most popular neighborhoods in Dallas, M-Line Tower also provides future residents with a

DFW Rentals

As more jobs and more Fortune 500 companies move to Dallas, bundles of young professionals are also making their way to North Texas, which is one of many reasons why the DFW apartment market continues to remain red hot in 2017.

Back in 2015, Forbes listed Dallas as the 15th Best Place for Business and Careers, and this past December NerdWallet also named Irving, Texas—a thriving suburb of Dallas—one of the best cities in the entire country for job seekers in 2017.

But now that the Dallas and surrounding North Texas area has been established as a destination spot, just what exactly is the cost of living here? Well, according to recent analysis from Zumper, the median rent price for a studio apartment in Dallas was $1,155 per month back in

East Plano Named Among Best DFW Neighborhoods

Although the results are subjective and everybody has individual preferences and opinions regarding what some of DFW’s coolest neighborhoods are, it’s still always fun to take a close look at the Dallas Morning News’ annual ‘Best Neighbohorhood’ rankings, which were just recently announced.

Just a few short days ago we highlighted West Plano for once again taking home the top spot in 2016, and if that wasn’t enough, East Plano has claimed the title of being Dallas-Fort Worth’s 3rd best neighborhood, trailing only the Colin County city of Allen, and of course it’s counterpart across town, West Plano.

Unlike Plano’s revitalized downtown and all the luxury homes found over in West Plano, East Plano has more of a quaint and charming ambiance to it, full of

Dallas Transit Oriented Development

If you haven’t heard the phrase “transit-oriented development” yet, it won’t be long before you become all too familiar with what seems to be one of the fastest growing real estate trends to hit major cities all over the United States. Here in the DFW area, nearly all of Dallas’ 60 existing light rail and commuter rail stations are driving all kinds of mixed-use development, especially at stops like Mockingbird Station, CityPlace/West Village, South Side on Lamar, and the Shops at Park Lane.

From a consumer standpoint, the primary appeal behind living in a transit-oriented development is of course the close proximity to public transportation, while from a city standpoint, TODs also help add sustainability density to accommodate for continued growth, help
