2014 DFW Car Shows & Events

With both the summer season and Father’s Day rapidly approaching, it’s time to start making plans to attend some of DFW’s hottest car shows of 2014. While it’s true plenty of women out there love their cars and have a wealth of knowledge about the automotive industry and its history, car shows seem to be the quintessential “guy thing” to do on the weekends, and if you haven’t yet made plans for Father’s Day 2014, which is Saturday June 15th this year fellas, perhaps swinging by some of the area’s numerous car shows throughout the month of June and beyond may be a good way to get in some quality time with dad.

For more information about 2014 DFW car shows, we’ve compiled a list of some of the biggest and most anticipated shows of the year below, but if we left something out or you know of a car show in your area we couldn’t find, please feel free to let both us and our readers know in the comments section below!

Camp Bowie District’s 4th Annual Glory Days Car Show – Fort Worth, TX

Live music, classic cars, cold beverages, and delicious eats. Can it really get much better? Hundreds of hot rods, custom cars, and vintage cars and trucks will be featured, so if you can only make it to 1 DFW car show this year, this wouldn’t be a bad choice.

4th Annual Calvary Car Show – Grand Prairie, TX

Being hosted at Calvary Baptist Church at 401 W. Church Street, the Calvary Car Show has grown into quite a spectacle in only its fourth year. The cost is $20.00 per entry and there will be 20 individual divisions and 33 different awards handed out, so be sure to mark your calendars for this one!

Masonic Car Show & Picnic – Springtown, TX
Saturday May 31st from 10-5 p.m.

Happening this weekend is the 15th annual car show and picnic in Springtown, Texas and with 500 visitors expected to attend, this should be an event to remember. Food will be provided and there will also be live music and a live D.J. all day long. Participant registration is from 8-10 a.m. and there will be an awards presentation around 1:30 pm.

Hot as Hell Car/Bike Show- Lancaster, TX
Saturday May 31st at Noon

Also this weekend is the 10 year anniversary for the Hot as Hell Car and Bike Show, which is usually one of the bigger events of the year. Given its history and longstanding place in Dallas’ car show lineup, this one may be worth stopping by, even just for a little bit. As always, admission is FREE, so bring the whole family.

Invasion Car Show #7 –Dallas, TX
Saturday August 30th at 1 p.m.

One of our favorite DFW car shows all year, 2014 marks the 7th year for the Invasion Car Show, which is held over in the historic Deep Ellum part of downtown Dallas. This annual show has more of a traditional feel and has very strict rules, only including pre-1964 hot rods and custom rides. So, if you’re looking for a great way to end the summer season, the Invasion Car Show surely won’t disappoint.

Good Guys Lonestar Nationals – Fort Worth, TX
